For some fun, most of the class went to the Nebraska-Kansas football game in October along with other classes. Other things include various activities held throughout the school year. Getting used to the upper classmen, classes, schedules, and high school sports proved to be a challenging experience but they got through. We the class of ‘83 are moving up! Whether it’s true or not remains to be seen. As far as activity, they are all pretty active in school sports and extra curricular activities. Purchasing class rings, sponsoring the faculty against high school basketball game, and planning their class party were some of the things they did. Serving for the Prom were Robin, Cindy, Gisele, Ben, Kevin, and Reynold. All are looking forward to the future. Bottom: Ginger Albin, Secretary-Treasurer; Jenni Harrington, Vice-President; Tami Lopez, President. The Junior class this year has had a very busy year. For beginners was a magazine drive designed to fund the Prom, in which they passed their goal by a large margin. Sights like a junior or two peddling magazines or records were not uncommon. Also, the class sponsored the 1980 Junior-Senior Prom in which a great time was had by all. Other projects helped to support the All-Sports Banquet. There was participation in countless other activities. The Junior class, also the largest in the whole school, was a rowdy bunch that loved a good time with hopes of many more to come in the future.
