FOREWORD SOME TRUST IN CHARIOTS There were those who must have thought us mad spending all that time and money we never had. Well, some trust in chariots and some in marble banks, some of us just love each other and never ask for thanks. There were those who must have thought us daft from the way we cried together and the way we laughed. Well, some trust in chariots and some in big machines, some of you save diamonds, baby, some of us save dreams. Some trust in chariots with great big yellow wheels. Well, I had a ride in a chariot and oh how empty it feels. There were those who must have thought us fools loving like a house on fire and breaking all the rules. We happened to run across a fortune machine which only cost a nickle, so thinking we could not lose we put in our nickle. To start things off right BRAD ALJBIN was our first victim. Brad was seen on a farm still working for Frank raising little Peg’s. BECKY CARLSTROM is seen as the Class of ’73 answer to woman's lib. She has taken over Uncle Sam’s job and can now be seen on posters saying, Aunt Becky wants you. CLYDE CARLSON was next in line. We found him still driving his '66 Pontiac making his weekly deposit at the Carlson Drive-In. NANCY KEALIHER can't decide where to make her residence. She has it narrowed down and is now leaning toward Kansas-Nebraska. LAYNE HANQUIST has finally decided on a career. He is now a surgical doctor working on a successful knee transplant. PAULA BILLS is now a head nurse an4 can be seen at night with a candle in one hand and the patient in the other. BILL HOFFMAN is a veterinarian. He’s proudest of the fact that he can now call his own shots. CHERYL SAMUELSON is still sitting in room 101. It seems Physics has her fascinated. She's still trying to understand lightening. DENNIS BJERRUM has obtained a job as a singer. He can be seen nightly at the Snack Shack singing his favorite song, Home on the Range. LEE SUNDBERG is kept busy these days. She is head secretary for Anderson Construction and helps in the managing of all productions. VIC BENDER has decided the dairy isn't such a bad life. A new chain of dairy stores have now appeared on the market founded by Vic. DEB MILLER is employed at a local hospital. She loves her work but feels the patients should drink more milk. BOB KISLER is really living. It seems he has taken up skiing and enjoys giving private les- sons. SUZETTE MEERKATZ is residing near Polk. She is married to a man who moves moun- tains. RICH WIDGA has come up in life. He now is an English professor at the University and owns two volkswagons. DEB REED is living a healthy life. She contributes it to her daily walks and encourages everyone to do the same. BILL MILLER was hard to find. At last report he was vacationing in the Bahamas and is still looking for Howard Hughes. PHYLLIS OSTBERG is MICKing her mark in the world. She's one of the best hairdressers for men in the world. RANDY WIDGA has a different outlook on life. He is now Chief of Police in Polk. ROD WERNER is hard at work putting the finishing touches on his revolutionary new engine, that runs strictly in alcohol.
