Senior Class Prophecy Even at the most modern of fairs, the World Hemisfair in Texas, we find the old-fashioned fortune teller. What does she have in store for the Grads of 1968 ? That large gold ring in her ear looks familiar. It's Jolene, taking a rest from the routine of hypodermics and hypochondriacs. The strange crystal ball shows Loren teaching psychodelic art to the hippies who need an education in flower power. His assistant, Glee, is in charge of daisies and lady bugs. There's more interference as Charlie zooms over, but soon he'll be landing for a break at his favorite Do-Nett Shop. Engines again interfere, and in the dust we see the decisive run between the shaking Chevy driver, Bob Cline, against the fearless Ford driver, Rog. Here comes Joel on his dapple gray stud. He's been dubbed Sir Bragalot for his superb Swardsmanship. We find Carol in the hospital again. She's been badly Bruced in a recent acci- dent. In the school we find Miss Nielsen, professor of English, receiving a sizable income for her efforts. She can now have that Neu-Haus she's always wanted. Shelly, as a biologist, is studying that mysterious rash which frequently ap- peared on her neck in high school. Mary Lou is also working in biology, categorizing the Markings on Woods. We switch to a business office and find Sharon's secretarial job keeps her hopping—from one boss's lap to another. Frisky Fingers Helen has also found success as a secretary. Peg has moved her P.E. courses north due to her fondness of the sport, Bob- sledding. Arny's on a farm near Polk, but in the off-season he- picked up a few extra bucks in an Ost-berger joint making Patties. Another farmer, Ken, is famous for his magnificent crop of Mush-rooms. For Kendall's latest animal husbandry project, he crossed a parrot with a lion. It doesn't say much; but when it talks, he listens. Dan's success at geometrical engineering surprises no one; he always did know all the angles. Another industrious soul is Chris, a leading bookkeeper. We knew her ability with figures would take her a long way. Nestled in the midst of that harem of beautiful women, we find Tom who has evidentally overcome his high school shyness. That hustling pro-football player, Bob Brock, has hit the big time now and savs with one more successful season, he'll be doing the Rapid Shave commercials Another hustler is Nancy, the Nurse. She insists that humor is the best medicine Her patients don't readily catch on, but they usually get it in the end. Here's a cozy little beauty shop, run by Connie. She's now working on a new hairstyle for Mr. Swanson. . ... Another of her favorite customers is Tom Hoffman who has proved that blondes really do have more fun. In his Smokey the Bear Hat is Ranger Wing whose fire preventing slogan has become famous, Remember—forest fires can prevent you! We always knew Ron was a fruity character and now we see him sampling “S The ystTb clouSfover and we proceed to explore the rent of the Fair.
