Ambition I hope I'll never be the guy— Who's satisfied to just get by; Who never feels the great big thrill of doing something with a will; of doing something others couldn't of doing something others wouldn't. The crowd is seeking fun and rest Let me be one to do my best. In keeping with the centennial theme we all know that the above meaning of the word Ambitious was necessary to bring about the great strides in Nebraska during its first hundred years. Also that it will be just as necessary to keep this in mind if Nebraska is to celebrate again in another hundred years. Walter C. Nielsen, Superintendent A message to the seniors: Education has made tremendous strides the past century and on the anniversary of Nebraska's statehood one should reflect upon the goals he has set. Have we the teachers and you the students progressed with our history to provide the quality of character and the leadership of mankind to combat the complexities of the present generation and those of future generations. I fervently hope that the seniors of 1966-67, have been provided withthe nec - essary capabilities to carry on life's work. As you leave, let success be your key to the door of happiness and ambition a ladder to success. John H. Hegwood, Principal
