Senior Class Mistory In the fall of 55 twenty-four eager pioneers began on the trail of knowledge. They were: Dennis Stevens, Vernon Crow, Robert La Velle, Lois Ostrander, Linda Morris, Sally Stufft, Tommy Cramer, Sharon Johnson, Gregory Ruzicka, Dorothy Anderson, Norman Recknor, Leonard War nick, James Peterson, Jo Neal McCormick, Sherlyn Meerkatz, Robert Nyberg, Elizabeth Flodman, Susan Shaw, Robert Lindburg, Cheryl Sagehorn, Dianne Rodine, Dennis Andrews, Robert Bedient, and Carolyn Kealiher. Our courageous leader was Mrs. Baker. Of these twenty- four, thirteen are graduating with us. In first grade we lost four school mates, Robert LaVelle, Lois Ostrander, James Peterson, and Dennis Andrews. This brought our enrollment to twenty. Our teacher was Mrs. Mills. In the fall of 57 we lost Jo Neal McCormick, Cheryl Sagehorn, and Bob Bedient. Mrs. Sterner, our second grade teacher, helped settle two new students that year. They were Dick Sealey and Bob Cline. They brought our total to nineteen. In the fall of 58 we lost Vernon Crow, Sharon Johnson, and Robert Nyberg, but we gained Deborah Kneeland, Neal Van Housen, Marie Carlson, and Barbara Logan. Lois returned from the wilderness and joined our train of twenty-one on the trail for knowledge. Our faithful teacher was Mrs. Loehr. In fourth grade we lost Sherlyn Meerkatz. Miss Imogene Hanquist braved this wild and woolly class of twenty. We went into fifth grade with tearful eyes, for we had lost Greg Ruzicka and Deborah Kneeland. Our tears were lessened as Jo Neal McCormick, Allen Tonniges, Ron Brockevelt, and Steve Burkland joined our class. This brought the class to a total of twenty-two, with Mrs. Sterner as our teacher. As sixth graders we increased our number to twenty-four by adding Dennis Anderson, Wayne Heiden, and Margaret Rosno. Jo Neal McCormick left that year. Our courageous teacher was Mrs. Shostrom. The loss of Stephen Burkland, Liz Flodman, and the temporary loss of Wayn Heiden reduced our seventh grade enroll- ment, but Mary Jean Appleton joined us leaving a final enrollment of twenty-two. As eighth graders Jim Morris and Liz Flodman joinedus. They filled the vacancies left by Ron Brockevelt, Tom Cramer, and Bob Cline. We then had an enrollment of twenty-one. In 1964, twenty-two brave explorers discovered high school as green freshmen. We had lost Mary Jean Appleton, but were well consoled, as we gained Wayne Heiden and Cheryl Sagehorn. At midterm we lost Barbara Logan. Having thoroughly explored high school, twenty-one regulars welcomed four new classmates: Anne Thompson, Diane Thompson, Dan Tyler, and Steve Saylor, which brought our sophomore total to twenty-five. The addition of Russ Wing our junior year brought our enrollment to the final figure of twenty-six. These same twenty-six will soon journey forth to blaze new and different trails. They are: Allen Tonniges, Anne Thompson, Bob Lindburg, Carolyn Kealiher, Cheryl Sagehorn, Dan Tyler, Dennis Anderson, Dennis Stevens, Diane Thompson, Dianne Rodine, Dick Sealey, Dorothy Anderson, Jim Morris, Lenny Warnick, Linda Morris, Liz Flodman, Lois Ostrander, Margaret Rosno, Marie C arlson, Neal Van Housen, Norman Recknor, Russ Wing, Sally Stufft, Steve Saylor, Susan Shaw, and Wayne Heiden. The Senior Class of 1967. 13
