To Graduating Seniors and all Polk Students: The past three years have seen a great change and much advancement in all our lives. It has indeed been a privilege to have been a part of the growth and progress of the Polk school. I and my family will remember our years in Polk as very happy ones. It is, naturally my hope that in future years we can continue to get together. During your school lifetime, words like orbit, satellite and space capsule have come to have meaning to all of us. In our headlong pace, however, I would remind you that the old fashioned words such as responsibility, morality and —most of all—faith, have not lost their meaning. Rather, they are infinitely more important now. It is also a hope that your education is never done; that you use the things learned in high school to build a better life for yourself and the generation to follow. Personally, my best wishes to all of you; come to see us when you can. Neal McCormick Superintendent
