We, the seniors of 1961, will to the Polk High School all the senior pictures for keeping the rats away until the juniors get their pictures; and 1000 aspirins for use by the school personnel because after we leave, they will need them. To the factulty we will our great appreciation of school; and our ability to keep our mouths closed and our ears open. We, the seniors , will to the juniors our good examples in hopes that they will follow in our footsteps. To the sophomores we will the missing pages of our books and our many test papers. To the freshmen we will our ability to get along with the teachers. I, Judy Adelson, will my bashfulness to Karen Stevens; and my early hours to Linda Johnson. I, Bruce Cramer will my ability to grow long hair to Denny Morris; and my ability to slide corners in reverse to Charles Cramer. I, Jackie Cramer, will my natural colored hair to Maxine VanDerbur; and my old letters to Connie Hoffman so she will have something interesting to write when she writes to Clarks. I, Gaylord Dose, will my car to Joyce Stewart so she won’t have to walk to school; and my size 6 football shoes to Max Kroger, but he will probably have to remake them to fit his feet. I, Mickey Fjell will my calmness to play basketball to Regy Green; and my driver’s license to Miss Bryan so she can drive to school. I, Pat Funk, will my calm manners to Linda Nyberg; and all my Kennedy buttons to Natalie Hahn to use in the next Presidential campaign. I, Janet Graves, will my ability to keep one boyfriend to Jeri Cramer; and good ole’ bus No. 3 to Joan Larkin so she will always have a peaceful ride home. I, Gary Harless, will my natural curly hair to Beverly Ekdahl; and my ability to think culturally to Mrs. Clarke. I, Lynn Johnson, will my ability to ’’pick off” signs to Marshall Anderson; and my great height to Jay Dee Green. I, Rodney Johnson, will my nickname Hot-Rod” to Jay Shaw; and my good car to Mr. McIntosh. I, Leon Meerkatz, will my old girl friends to Mr. Martin; and my ability to get along with Mr. Schnackenberg to Larry Coover. I, Sally Norquest, will my good English grades to Lanny Ang; and my ability to hum in Spanish class and not get caught to Linda Johnson. I, Edith Otte, will my quiet voice to Mr. Martin; and my ability to argue to Bonnie Hanquist. I, Doug Stevens, will my height to Dob Hahn; and my car to Regy Green so he can drive home after basketball practice. I, Thelma Scott, will my laughing ability to Mrs. McCormick; and my 3rd period study hall to Jeri Cramer and Elaine Ostrander so they will always have a morning lunch hour. I, Genon Stohl, will my piano playing ability to Joan Sandell; and my old boy friends to Karen Stevens.
