Superintendent s Message TO THE CLASS OF 1959: It is with pleasure and honor that I salute you and express my good wishes for your future success and happiness. We hope that the time you have spent in school here will be the beginning of an ad- vancing era toward higher education and will serve as a record of these years of accomplish- ments and achievements at Polk High School. No other generation of youth in history has been confronted with social, economic, and political problems more far-reaching than that of today.
