We, the Seniors of 52 wish to unveil the following events of the four years of school life to you. It was autumn in the year of 19U8, as the bell sadly tolled death of three months vacation, when fourteen Freshies assembled on the east side of the assembly. We w»re greeted by the dignified seniors who two weeks later gave us our initiation. Class officers elected for the year were: President . . Vice President Sec. Treas . . Sponsor. . . . Jeanelle Kroger . .Donna Monson . Sheralee Hill •Alton Wilhelms During the year we lost Vernus Connors but Emil Rosno came to tho rescue. We received four new members at the beginning of our Sophmore year. They were Shirley Gordon, Clarence Peetzke, Robert Petersen»and Barbara Walker. Class officers for the year were: President .................... Barbara Walker Vice President ............. Frank Ostrander Sec. Treas ................. Jeanelle Kroger Sponsor .................. Kiss Leota Sneed Our class decreased by three with. Bob Petersen, Shirley Gordan, and Ro Jean Nelson leaving. During this year we put on a class play entitled Great Scotts . It went over with a bang { In Kay we entertained the seniors at the annual Junior-Senior Banquet. We used the theme Hitch Your Wagon To A Star , on which we received many compliments. We, the Seniors of the Class of 1952 will tothe Juniors our abil- ity to put on excellant class plays. We, the Seniors of the Class of 1952 will to the Sophmores the ability to get by without the aid of our sponsor. We, the Seniors of the Class of 195 will to the Freshman the ab- ility to be good sportman and hard working students in any undertaking so that Polk High School name will always be respected as it is now. I, Sheralee Hill will my ways with Marvin Nelson to Alice Janky, and my ways with the teachers to Jerry King. I, Duane Johnson will all my girl friends to Ardean Kohtz, and my motorscooter to Harvey J. Zabel. I, Marilyn Johnson will my personality to Marilyn Jones, and my pretty little giggle to Mary Lou Sandell. I, Jeanelle Kroger will my one and only GAYLEN HOLMES to Joan Van Ostrand and my ability to take good pictures to June Skaden. I, Marilyn Lind will my quiet and likeable ways to Caryln Strand, and will my singing ability to Myron Norquest. I, Leora Meyer will my height to Bill McNaught and my temper to Don Nyoerg. I, Donna Monson will Roger Werner to Luella Dose, and my speed to Lawrence Shenk. I, Marvin Nelson will my ability to nave a steady girl to Robert Carlson, and my good grades to Jack Larkin. I, Clarence Peetzke will my manly ways to Ken Werner, and Marlyce Shostrom to Kenny Bowers. I, Bob Peterson will my technique with the girls to Gil Ruzicka, and my basketball ability to Delarid riudman. I, Emil Rosno will my wavy hair to Ervin Schulze and my battered up Plymouth to Louis Light. I, Vern Samuels will my ability to drive to Ronald Nyberg, and my ability to flirt with the girls to Carroll Shenk. I, Marlyce Shostrom will my studious ways to Deland Flodman, and my ability to act in plays to Donald Nyberg. I, Barbara Walker will my loud ways to Marvelle Scott, and Dale Peterson (when I get though with him) to Janice Wilshusen. I, Annette Wilshusen will my cheerleading ability to Dean Lind- burg and ability to write notes to Lois Miller. I, Frank Ostrander will my bloodhound ways to rout up couples to Jim Adel son and my lazy ways to Marilyn Hahn.
