Shooting for a win Coaching 7th and 8th grade boys' basket- ball this year is Patrick Hines. After win- ning only two ot their first six games, their goal is to improve their record before the season is over. They practice every week- day when no game is scheduled. We've made it to the top The H986 Varsity Cheerleaders attended NCA Cheerleading Camp at Furman Univer- sity in luly tor tive days. While there we won tive blue ribbons, and one red ribbon tor our performances. We won the spirit stick tor continuing enthusiasm twice which allowed us to bring it home. Qur sponsor is Mrs. Robin Foster, who attend- ed camp with us while she was eight months pregnant, which makes it sate to say she has been our most-dedicated sponsor. Qur cap- tains are Cindy White and Angie Miller. With cooperation trom our entire squad we have been able to improve greatly! We sponsored activities tor Homecoming week, a Homecoming Dance, a Halloween Dance and with the Student Council co-spon- sored a Christmas Dance.
