I was so terribly lucky and fortunate to have received a placement in Polk County. The kids at Polk Central have been so friendly to me throughout the year that it will be very difficult for me to leave. I will miss talking to the teachers freely and giving Mr. Hensly a hard time. I have had a great year in learning the American way of playing different sports. I really feel like an American now! Congratulations to the Rickman family for putting up with me for a whole 12 months. They are a super family. I love them so much and I will miss them terribly. Alot of thanks goes to P.C. for baring with me. I love ya’ll very much. I know for sure I'll miss you all (especially your southern accent). It has been a wonderful experience. How can I ever forget you? You are all 1. The “Crazy” Australian, Tamsin I want to thank everybody in Polk County for making this year so great. I think it has been one of the greatest experiences in my life. I really like to go to school here at Polk Centrall, although it is different from my school in Denmark. I have learned alot. Before I came I had never been to a football, basketball or baseball game. Now Polk Central has given me that experience. Also I have learned that Americans are warm and kind people. When I am gone I hope that you all will not forget me because I definitely will not forget any of you. Simon Tamsin Fuad oie Simon Dall Senior Class Sponsors These Seniors are not pictured in color. Todd By Darlene Forrester He was such a nice boy, We love him so dearly. His radiant smile made your day, When he flashed it your way. He was always laughing; and he always seemed to care. He warmed the hearts of those he met; But he’s gone, and yet, His memory will always be with us, No one could ever take his place. | He was one of a kind, The Best; But now he is in a place of joy and rest. For we will all have the joy of seeing him some day. He’s singing in the Heavenly choir, There’s no doubt, Cause the master’s plan was carried out. (Editor’s Note: The above eulogy to Todd Reid was written by a fellow classmate of his at Polk Central High School.
