Semi or Pxr ophecy As I arrived in New York one day, I registered at one of the largest hotels, and who greeted me but Bob Meyers. He said he had a wonderful job as bell boy, and that his wife formerly Alice Tho- mas, and his five little children were all very fine. What a shock this was to me, my old schoolmate. As I went for my afternoon walk the next day I happened to see a theatre with large letters naming, UOpening Tonight, Starring Margie Urban and Darrel Weaver in Romeo and Juliet.N I went in to see them and they played their parts very well. After the show I saw Margie and she said that they were to be married soon. Upon leaving the theatre I noticed a dried-up old man walking toward me with a smile on his face. At first I didn't recognize him, but at the second glance I discovered it was none other than Chink Whipple. I couldn't understand why he was so cross-eyed. Agter questioning him, I found out he was in school he made so many eyes at a certain girl that his eyes stayed that way. I asked him if he was married, and he said he had a very lovely wife whom I discovered was Priscilla Tarr. Continuing my journey to Boston, I saw a large house with the name Rev. Eldon Waters. I decided to go in and see him. As I open- ed the door I heard HI pronounce you man and wifen I tiptoed in and discovered he was marrying none other than Betty James and Wendell Clark. I wished them a lot of happiness and continued on my journey. Upon st0PPing in Detroit, I saw a sign, NYe Old Tavernn and underneath it read HManagers formerly of Polingn, Deciding there might be some more of my friends, I decided to go in. I found Jack Blowers and Roxie Robinette behind the bar and can you guess who was putting on the floor show? None other than Nancy Vogel and Leta Lewis. I decided not to disturb them for they seemed to be having a wonderful time. I went to an opera that night, just to pass time, and was I shocked when I saw on stage Susie Updike, Vera Slack, Benny Bradley and Paul Bunsold. The boys were staging a duel over the girls. On my journey back to Poling I stopped in Fort Wayne, where I saw Basil Whipple. He said he had married his school day sweetheart Mary Davis and was the proud father, of six lovely children.
