SPEEDAWAY A new sport was introduced to the Poland girls this year by Mrs. King, our physical education teacher. Called Speed- away, it is a combination of football, soccer and basketball. Speedaway is played outside with eleven players, the object being to drive the ball across the opposing team's end line. This sport was greeted enthusiastically, and many of our girls organized a team under Mrs. King. Games were played with Boon- ville and West Canada with a record of one and one. The girls are all looking forward to a continuation of Speedaway next year lr U ' iiiawn in an , - ? ?fJ!3.,!!!a, --f wif? H err'
