Last year it was proud to be among the foremost bands asked to belong to the First Chair of America Yearbook. This yearbook contains pictures and stories of the big bands, choirs, and orchestras of the United States. Under the direction of Mr. Truscello, the band consisting of 50 members has presented concerts at school, entertainment for clubs, and has played at Cornell on Band Day. For the past 2 years in competition the band has earned A ratings in grade 5 music. It is now preparing music in grade 6 for spring competition. SEWC SECTIQNALS Some of our more talented performers were chosen to attend A11- State, Sectional A11-State, A11-County, and the Eastern Music Conference in Atlantic City. 41 'f L- . Q,:..?1-1' . 4Q.
