Each member gained membership by working for a certain number of points, which were given according to the amount and ability of his Work. SPEECH CLUB MOVIE CLUB This year the Movie Club is composed of thirteen members. Mr. Manford Blessing. the ad- viser of the Movie Club group, instructed them in the operation of the movie projector. Students operated the machine for assem- bly programs in the Senior High School. Junior High School, and the Ordnance Grade School. The Speech Club, under the direction of C, H. TU-ENDIE-WEI Since l9l5, the Tu-Endz'e- lVez' has been the oflicial school paper of Point Pleasant High School. The paper has been ed- ited by a club composed of stu- dents from the three classes who are interested in journalism. It has won Honor Rating many times in national contests. Tu- Endie-XVei is an Indian name meaning mingling of two waters, namely the Kanawha and Ohio Rivers. The Hi-Y Club of Point Pleasant Senior High School was first organized in 1923. The purpose of the club is to create, maintain, and extend throughout the school and community, high standards of Christian Character. The Hi-Y slogan is 'Clean speech, Clean sports.
