KEYETTES The Keyette Club is comprised of twenty- five girls in their Sophomore, junior, and Senior years. Each year, five freshmen and five sophomores are voted into the club for the following school year. Members are chosen on their leadership and scholastic abilities. The Keyettes engage in community and school orientated activities. One activity sponsored by the Keyettes is the Annual Powderpuff Football game between the Beach and Boro junior and senior girls. The Keyette Club has also been involved in the recycling project run by the town. Every year, the Keyettes help at the Easter Egg Hunt and the Children's Christmas Party. Keyettes sometimes engage in inter-club activities like volleyball games between local school's Keyette and Key Clubs. Overall, the Keyettes are always willing to help in the community whenever needed. Sherrie Hyde, Cara Chapel, Eileen Kellington Maureen Miller, Karen Hennessy. This year, like every year, the Key Club has worked every Saturday morning with recyc- ling. We recently held a Walk-a-thon in which we raised money for the hungry people in the world. The club has sold pretzels at school functions and has worked around the school. New members are elected on their grades, the teachers vote, and then whether they will work for the club. Every year the Key Club goes to the Poconos for a convention. Last year the club won first place in its catagory of 28 members or less of all New jersey. KEY CLUB lar!!! fl Q l X .
