COUDR 1' Captain Noni Ehrola As a portion of the Marching band, the Color Guard's main function is to display and guard the colors, better known as the American and accompanying flags. The squad consists of 16 girls. Eight girls make up the flag section which includes the American flag and two guards, the school banner, the state, county, town, and school flags. The sergeant and five girls carry rifles and execute routines during the football half-time, the Captains carry sabers. The Sergeant's responsibility is to train the girls in the routines and order them on the field, in parades and during practice. The Cap- tains are responsible for the squad as a whole. This year the Color Guard participated in half-time shows, pep-rallies and a trip to Florida. The Captains are Debbie Kitchen and Noni Ehrola.
