Gerry Leo Chairman Get the idea BUSINESS The Business Dept. of P.P.B. serves many aspects of the business world. it covers subjects such as Stenography, Typing, Bookkeeping, Record-keep- ing, ABC Shorthand, and Transcription. The Busi- ness Dept. also includes two work programs. One is based solely on the secretarial profession. This is called CO-OP, and is run by Mrs. Arlene Tylecki. Girls who plan to be secretaries and have had sev- eral requiredepbusiness courses can join5 ,,CO-OP. The girls go toirequired classes in the morning and then to a job during the afternoon. They are placed in a variety of places, banks, insurance companies, medical offices in the hospital, and some are sec- retaries in our school. The second department pro- gram is calledlf7Distributiveiiliiiiducation, by Mr. Baronowski. This is run like the CO-OP except it pertains to employment in retail organizations.
