STUDENT CGUNCIL The Student Council is the powerful voice of the students to the administration. The purpose and the powers of the Council are: to raise funds to operate the Council, to work with the Principal to publish the Student Handbook, to act upon requests that the representatives have brought to the attention of the Council, to bring any mat- ter of concern of the students to the ad- ministration, and to help the Principal es- tablish a school social calender. The Council has fulfilled its duties. Some of the achieve- ments of the Council were the publishing of the Student Handbook, the First Annual Snow Ball, and the sponsoring of a dance to raise funds for Greg Van Cardo. The stu- dents have given of themselves greatly during the year, which has resulted in a successful Student Council. The success also came about due to the helpfulness of the advisor, Mr. lividen. The officers are Vaike Lillemagi, Pres., Lisa Canonica, V.P.g Barbara Matern, Rec. Sec., Kathy Porter, Corr. sec., Billy Repsher, Treas.
