MIXED CHORUS The Mixed Chorus is made up of students in grades 10-12, male and female. We rehearse one class period every day, for a total of five credits for the year. The course is open to anyone who enjoys singing. Usually, the size of the group varies between 60-80 members. We present two public concerts each year, our Winter and our Spring Con- certs. We have been invited to sing at many clubs and organizations including the Old Guard, the original Leisure Village, the V.F.W., and the Townhouse, to name a few. We participated in the community presen- tation of Handel's Messiah, and took part in Lenten services held at St. Peter's Church, involving area churches. Several students, usually , are chosen from the Mixed Chorus to participate in a special group called the Madrigals. From this group stem off the boys to form the Boy's Ensem- ble, the girls make up the Treblettes. These students are chosen because of their superior voice qualities. Their talents do not lie only in their voices, for at many of our concerts they performed dance routines while singing. All students in the choruses are dedicated to our wonderful director, Mr. Donley.
