LIBRARY COUNCIL The Library Council was begun this year ln our school as a part ot a state- wide movement. lts purposes are to help people make use ol the library. teach the members to assist the llbra- rian. Miss Marilyn McGinnis. and to keep the library ln order. Books are re- paired by the members who spend their tree periods checking tiles and catalog- lng new books. The assistants meet twice a year with the library council representatives ol all the schools ln the state to discuss prob- lems concerning library management. tvs STUDENT COUNCIL The otflcers of the Student Council this year were: Conrad Blackman. presl- dent: Dave Reid. vlce-president: Lots Cox. secretary: and loan Von Oesen. treasurer. Many worthwhile proiects were accomplished. Among them was the inauguration ol Student Day. a day when the students participated tn run- ning the school. The Constitution was amended to bring it up to date. and the school elec- tions were improved. One ol the highlights ol the year was the Sadie Hawkins Dance spon- sored by this active group.
