Spirit Week was really exciting. With so many people getting involved, it made it even more fun, commented Phillipa Moore. Election Dress Up Day, Hat Day, Tourist Day, and Maroon and Gold Day were all part of the week- long activities. During lunch, students participated in many events. A licorice eating contest, balloon stomping contest, lifesaver pass, ice cream eating, and a hula hoop contest got many students involved. Homecoming half time started with the Drill .Team marching out to the field to the music of P.L.'s band. They did a routine to Peter Gunn, a song by the Blues Brothers. Next the floats: Jr. Class, Film Club, Drama Club, Highlights, Key Club, Business Ed., 81 CSF. Jr. Class won the competition, with Film Club coming in close second. Kay-Kay Martin remarked, lt was super that so many people got involved. Next came the Home- coming Court with the King and Queen arriving in a Rolls Royce. lt was spectacular. Everyone was happy and ev- erything went as planned, said Jamie Jenkins. F fi . 6 Q 6 8 7 lln fss 1 j . j A ag .
