Other projects included the annual Christmas Bazaar, fund raising sale, Easter visit to Schweitzer School, and Sophomore Tea for prospective members. Point Loma’s 78-79 newspaper staff was composed of several experienced returnees, as well as many new journalists, thus creating an innovative, yet organized periodical. New features included ‘‘On The Point’’ and “Your Sun Signs.’’ The busy year was filled with ever-present deadlines, but the artists, photographers, reporters and editors enjoyed their collaborated efforts. One of the various activities in which POINTER participated in was a tour of the San Diego Evening Tribune building, where the group photo was taken. 1. Margaret Arthur contemplates a-story. | 2.
