Speech Arts Acquiring poise and learning to speak effectively in front of an audience are the main aims of Point Loma's Speech Arts students. ln the past few years the students, under the expert coaching of Miss Jewelden Brodie, have won numerous high awards. The courses offered in this department are public speaking and drama, which includes in- termediate and advanced play production. Home Economics Home economics students are given advice on good grooming and etiquette as well as instruction in cooking and sewing.
