Linda Wilson Lester Cook Bill Holben Jeff Nelson Class History All 28 of the Freshman class of ’56-’57 walked into the school doors September 11, 1956, not knowing where to turn. We were directed to the Home Ec. Room, after meeting our class advisor, Mr. Woodward, we felt a bit more at ease. September 17th we had our first class meeting in which we elected our class officers for the year. Sam Oglesby, President; Joan Warner, Vice President; Stanley Solbeck. Secretary-Treasurer, were elected in the offices. One of the first questions was about initiation, a few of us were quite uneasy about the thought of being initiated. To our surprise all there was, was the Freshman Recep- tion, which we enjoyed very much. The Sophomores did very well with the Fresh- man Reception, and we hope we can do as well next year. Class Officers Left to right: Sam Oglesby, President; Joan Warner, Vice President; Stanley Solbeck, Sec- retary-Treasurer; Michael Combs, Class Representative.
