Yoshiko Aioi is Poky's exchange student from Kamigoricho, Hyogoken, Japan, She is staying with the Marvin Ross family, 20 Purkey Avenue. Yoshiko came to the United States with four other girls who are also staying with American families. Yoshiko went to an all girls' school in a large city a few miles from her hometown. She wishes to go to college in the United States but she is not certain if she will go to l.S.U. Yoshiko loves to play ping-pong, and her favor- ite American food is the hamburger. She says she likes U. S. History but has trouble keeping a notebook. ln September Yoshiko was mode an honorary member of Pep Club and provided with a uniform. Because watching sports is one of her main interests, she can be seen cheering the team enthusiastically. xl l An International Touch at Poky ' Adolfo Garcia-Huidobro, l7, a Chilean student, is al: studying at Pocatello High. Adolfo plans to finish h senior year in the United States and then return to Chi where he will study medicine. He is staying with tl' Dee Bogert family, 7 Willowwood Avenue. Adolfo is very active person, He loves tennis and skiing and is member of Key Club and Boys' Council. He loves all typi of pies. His favorite subject is U. S. Government. September Adolfo was elected president of DeSales Clu a church group for teen-agers. Although he enjoys livir in America, he is looking forward to his return to Chi in July.
