Seniors WMA 491 MJ Senior class officers are first row, left to right -Nickie Blanco, secretary, and Jim Lee, president. . Second row- Leonard Howell, vice-president, N. and Steve Raymond, treasurer. A I ' -is 4 is y . Q ,sa ' . ,ee, 5 Nl .. . ii- .i ss-- A , Our three years of high school have left many memorable impressions in our minds. Now that we are seniors we look back over the past and remember the following. After recovering from the jitters, upon entering the famed Poky High Nation, we started off a wonderful and exciting yea-r as sophomores. Red and Blue Day is one which we will never forget. The lovely princess, Miss Sharon Kelly, rode upon our float in the parade. lt was the first and last float we made since that was the last Red and Blue Day observed with a parade of floats. Our class party made a big splash at the ldaho State College swimming pool. It was an evening of swimming, dancing, and refreshments. Rocking 'Through the Ages was the theme of our as- sembly, which was a tremendous success and received much praise. In our junior year we were more sure of ourselves, after joining the ranks of upper classmen. We started by having lovely Miss Edwena Johnson as our princess of Red and Blue day. We presented a skit in the assembly about the high society Tea Time in England. At our class party, Secret Ambition, everyone came dressed as whom he would secretly like to be. There was everything from cow- boys to cannibals. Around the World in Sixty Minutes was the theme of our assembly. It provided fine entertain- ment as we visited the various countries around the world. Our most outstanding achievement was the Junior Prom, 24 Evening in Paris. Amid the stunning background depict- ing our theme we da-nced to the music of Bill Liday. An eagerly-awaited event was the receiving of class rings which we proudly wear today. The senior year will always be deeply embedded in our memories. lt has been a year of feverish activity for all. We started this year of excitement by winning the first place prize in the Red and Blue Day Assembly. Even more exciting was our lovely queen, Miss Jeanie Medrud, and her two charming attendants, Karen Camerud and Kristen Holman. Lynda Kay Hansen, our new Oske, made quite a showing at the football game that evening. Our class Beatnik party was a tremendous success. Everyone had a riot wearing the latest beatnik costumes. The dancing, entertainment, and refreshments were all superb, and there was never a dull moment. Our Senior Ball, Red Sails in the Sunset, was carried on with a sea of success. The golden rays of a sunset pro- vided a picturesque throne for our lovely queen, Miss Margot Larsson and handsome king David Alvord. The first of our pre-graduation activities was Campus Day. Our hosts took us on a tour of the' ISC campus. We wound up the day's activities with a dance at the Student Union building. Senior Sneak was a day of no regrets, everyone agreed that it was worth waiting for. Senior Showdown is one of our dearest memories. But the one memory that is uinforgettable was graduation, the first step across the bay.
