GARY HAVI N President EDDIE CRANE A Vice-P resident .mio 'as SENIOR CLASS HISTORY At the end of this gear, our last at Pocatello High School, we of the senior class of I9 7 look back fondly on our four years. Many memories crowd our minds as we reflect. Way back when tour freshman yearl, we lived through the painting ' and glory of our first Red and Blue Day. Our class party was he d in the Girls' Gym a-nd many of us attended. We worked hard and played hard that first year. When we were sophomores, Red and Blue Day was no more, IH its place came Homecoming and our illustrious class float which dldn't even win a prize: Our ' Dogpatch party was quite the sight, with many odd-looking creatures, including schmoos, and lots of Kickapoo Joy Juice mixed by our hicks from the sticks. We gained a little confidence in ourselves, but we still held back our talents, ambitions, and especially, our homework. During our junior year we had a good float, complete with an Indian, and it won second prize. The theme this year was Poky Pow Wow. Our as- sembly was a Minstrel Show and it was received enthusiastically. To top aff the year, we staged the best dance of all, the Junior Prom, with the unforgettable theme, Carousel Our senior year was eagerly anticipated as we ordered our class rings and partied at the Cove. Last fall we come back to the good old theme of Red JEAN ETTE KINGHORN Secretary and Blue Day, and capped it by winning first prize with our spec- tacular 40-foot Senior Dream. ' Long after this year we will re- member and cherish the efforts of our football and basketball teams, both undefeated and both Big Six champions. Our grand- children will hear about this feat for long years to come. Night of January l6th, was the title of the suspense-packed senior play, which everyone, including the cast, enfoyed. Of course, the Senior Ball, biggest and best of oll, was hed in a facsimile of a tea- house w ich may be the senior trademark for all time. Everyone had fun on Sneak Day, but many eyes were tearful as the last march down the aisle concluded our high school days. Class officers during our years at Poky High were: PRES. V.-PRES. SECRETARY TREASURER 9-Bob Burton Larry Hill Anita Hayden George Crotts IO-Bud Miller Nancy Sealey Karen Stedtfeld Pat Kelly l l-Gary Havin C. Paniogue Jerry Seibert Jeanette Bradley l2-Gary Hayin Eddie Crane J. Kinghorn Jerry Seibert JERRY SEI BERT Treasurer
