The object of Honor Society is to encourage scholarship and promote good school citizenship. Before being considered for membership, a student must have been in Pocatello High School for one year, and must have been a par- ticipant in school activities and organizations. The traditional banquet, held each spring, is one of the many highlights of Honor Society. Honor Society is affiliated with National Honor Society. The members of National Honor Society are selected from the senior class by the faculty upon the basis of character, service, leadership, and scholarship. Only those students who stand in the upper third of their class in scholarship are considered.
