'new Miss Skinner Sponsor JUNIOR CLASS HISTORY In September, 1952 taenty five jolly Pre hmen were ready to start their careers at Pocahontas Pigh At the beginning of the year we met and elected our class officers with the help of our sponsor, Mr Leo D Cruthers Officers elected were, Margaret Elem, Loren Leitschuh, Netro Turner, Dat Gruner, Kenneth Weiss, and Patsy Farley Our queen candidates were Pat Gruner and Gladys Holcmann In September, 1953 twenty three eager sophomores were ready to start back to pocahontas High Our spon sors were Mrs Johnson and Mr Ceglenski Officers elected for the year were, Rita Weiss,Joyce Beard, Ken neth Weiss, Laverne Theims, and Jim Kuhn We also elected our queen candidates, Lois Longwell and Joyce Beard he were very proud to have Joyce crowned queen and Lo1s maid of honor In September,l95h, twenty two jolly Juniors start ed back to school with a smile Officers elected for the year were,Joyce Beard, Rita Weiss, Gladys Holcmann, and Barbara Hoffman Our queen candidates were Rita H8158 and Lois Longwell In November we gave our Junior play which consisted of two one ct plays Joyce Beard Gladys Holcmann Pictures not Available Barbara Hoffman Rita Weiss Mrs Reeves Sponsor 23 , 1 - S I o ' o 0 u .J A 4. 0 U , - . - o J o 0 .'
