The class chose as their colors: Green and Yellow, their flower: White Carnation, and their motto: Live to Learn, Learn to Live. In 1950, 26 students from George Washington Junior High School were added to the 90 to bring it up to 116. But when they came back to school in September, 1951, they found that some familiar faces had gone, bringing their number down to 94. As Juniors they chose to head their first class: Ruth Zitzelsberger as President, James Goff as Vice-President, and Reba Workman as Secretary-Treasurer. The class also chose a homeroom representative from each of their three homerooms to serve on the Student Council. They are: Frank Gibeaut from Mrs. Pruett's homeroom 1, Donnie Harmon from Mr. Knapp's homeroom 6, and Reba Workman from Mr. Gothard's homeroom 25. The Junior Class Play, Gabriel, Blow Your Horn! will be given April 25 under the di- rection of Mr. Knapp. Every Junior hopes to make this year a successful one and are looking forward to becoming the graduating class of 1953. twenty-eight
