SENIOR CLASS HISTORY There were seventy-six when the seniors began, As freshmen they came from nearly every clan. Because of the group of students George Washington Jr. Hi did send, The sophomore year was ended with an increase of ten. They struggled hard as juniors to reach that final goal, But the number decreased till there were seventy on the roll. As seniors they do wonder what will be their fate, Now there are fifty-seven which on May 18 graduate. Ferrari, Harrison, Withrow, and White now lead the class, As the officers they were elected by the mass. They have chosen for their flower the red rose, And most of the gals have received them from their beaus. We hope they remember their colors, blue and gold, Also the ideals to which they should hold. The motto Today We Follow, Tomorrow We Lead , Expresses their hope that they all succeed. twenty-one
