Drama, no matter how old or how new, is a view of life as seen by different people. The Colonial Players are people who care about life, and, who in their own special way, try to present look at life through the medium of the stage. This year, under the guidance of Miss J ean Baker, the Players began working with Viola Spabinis Theater Games. They spon- sored an open Theater Games Workshop with Stephen Book ' February. This year, the Players major presentation consisted of tw plays, one old the other new, concerned with problems in to days world. Forensic Society With today,s communication problem, the students of P-W need a place to say what they wish - in art or creative writing. Thatts where the Continental fits in. Twice a year, it publish- es students, reactions to life, and accompanying these reactions, artistic viewpoints on the same reactions. Certainly students will never stop reacting, and if the Continental was to be dedi- cated, it would be to such students. Forensics play an important role in life. Communication by speech has always been important to man. The society was created for people who had a sincere desire to be able to speak intelligently now and throughout their lives. This year, the Forensic Society laid a solid foundation for itts future. The members learned about the techniques and skills of debating, poetry and prose reading, persuasive and in- formative speaking, and other verbal arts.
