Homecoming 70 From the first thoughts, through the preparations, to the day itself, Homecoming offered many exciting activities to the entire school. Each class and Ars Medica prepared floats Which presented their interpretations of the Colpnial spirit. The senior class portrayed the destruction of a Viking ship. Meanwhile, the junior class was preparing for a feast by roasting a Viking on the prizewinning float. The giant colonial who led us on to a near victory was made by the sophomore class. The medical crew on the Ars Medica float was preparing the Vikings for what was to come. The happiness of the Queen and her court was sym- bolized by the release of many colorful balloons as the Queen was crowned at the game. Although the game was lost, the spirit of the students was everpresent at the pep-rally Friday evening, the game, and at the post-game party on the Cowpath. The climax of the weekend was ttHarvest Haze,n the Homecoming Dance. Here, the triumphant Queen reigned amidst the pulsating music of Montage.
