Senior Committee Chairmen l f FIRST R0 W: M. Sheppard, N. Pollack, G. Delong, S. Thompson, M. Garshman, B. Frankenfield, A. Rosenburg, C. Goldblatt, A, Lepore. SECOND R0 W: N. Bond, P. Brown, S. Lefkoe, J . Hollander, B. Smith, M. Johns, G. Yost, Se Kessler, L. Taylor, G. Friend. Events like the Senior Prom, Dinner, and Production donlt ust happen. tlLittle details,, like rings, the class gift, mugs, and yuttons donlt take care of themselves. Someone has to devote jime and energy to get these things done. Under the leadership kf the above individuals, plans were made and carried out by the :hairmen themselves, and their committees. I All who attended the activities presented by the Senior class ,ihis year were certainly able to appreciate the fine job that was lone by the chairmen. Though they received little reward or iecognition for all their efforts, these class leaders were satisfied yith the knowledge that many people had enjoyed the fruits of gheir labor and that they had done a job.

Class of 1971 This yearis Senior class finally made it. They were 7541 in ,71. The elements which made up the class possessed the talents needed to meet each new challenge which was presented to them. The main goal of the officers and sponsors has been to reach out to those students who ordinarily were uninvolved in any class or extra-curricular activities and to draw these stu- dents into school functions. As one looks back at the past activi- ties of the class, such as the basketball game with the Harlem Diplomats, and the Junior Prom, and then at the activities of this year, one can see how the class has grown together, and functioned even better as time has passed. The officers, sponsors, and committee chairmen worked espe- cially hard throughout the winter of the 1970-71 school year to make certain that the end of their senior year was especially memorable. After Homecoming, the class sponsored no major activities until February when the Old Time Film Festival, star- ring W. C. Fields in ttNever Give A Sucker An Even Break, and ttWolfman7 with Lon Chaney, was held. Then, in March, All You Need Is Love7 premiered, starring over 150 seniors. May was a special month for everyone who attended the Banquet at the Covered Wagon, and then, ttCome Saturday Morning7 at the Westover Country Club. All of these activities in addition to Commencement, helped bring their high school life to a happy close. ,71 OFFICERS, KNEELING: Harvey Schutzbank, Vice-president; Ron Regan, President; Alan Berk, Vice-presiden STANDING: Joe Gambone, Treasurer; Mr. James Doyle, Sponsor; Bernadette Greene, Secretary; Mr. Thomas Madell Sponsor. tNot pictured: Miss Carol Bonow, SponsorJ
