In dedicating the 1968 CONNING TOWER the Senior Class has chosen a man vital to the growth and maturity of Plymouth State College and a man personally close to our graduating class. Professor Mark Sylvestrc has actively headed the Academic Excellence Committee which seeks to upgrade Plymouth in that particular area. This committee has been nationally recognized and honored for its work. Mr. Sylvestrc exhibits an enthusiasm about his work that can't help but rub off on his students. Perhaps there was a time when star gazing didn't hold much appeal but certainly that was pre-physical science with Mr. Sylvestrc. For four years of the class existence Mr. Sylvestrc has served as advisor for the Class of 1968. He has always been there, supporting all our efforts and helping us to keep our proper perspective. With sincerity and appreciation, we. the Class of 1968. dedicate this yearbook to you. Mr. Sylvestre. our instructor, our advisor, and our friend.
