The 1963 Conning Tower is dedicated to you, Mrs. Gertrude L. Eisner. Your task is not on easy one— being secretary to three deans, and assisting with admissions, housing, and placement. The student body appreciates the fact that when you have decisions to make, you try your best to please the student. COMMISSIONER OF EDUCATION The year of 1963 promises to be on unusual one for Plymouth Teachers College. We will probably see the Report of the Interim Study Commission on Education presented to the General Court for implementation. That Report recommends that Plymouth Teachers College become a general-purpose college under an administrative pottern that differs from the existing one. Change is continuous ond should be so recognized 1963 will probobly be the year in which Plymouth Teachers College will be made into a stronger force than ever to prepare well-trained teachers, as well as to become an instrument of instruction and exploration in other areas of collegiate preparation. All students at Plymouth Teachers College con take pride that they ore members of a college student body which is alert to the changing times about them and that the leadership of their college is ever attempting to improve ond strengthen its educational program which has had such an enviable record in the annuals of New Hampshire's progress.
