The music department will add its fourth staff member next fall and major works will continue to be performed by the music organizations. For the student who is interested in majoring in art, courses are offered ranging from arts and crafts to history of art. The art laboratories have been expanded and a new member of the staff has been added. Jim Locke is the first art major to graduate from Plymouth Teachers College. His home is his costle. BUSINESS EDUCATION DEPARTMENT The purpose of the Business Education Department is to prepare business teachers for high schools, especially for those in New Hampshire. The majority of our graduates are Comprehensive Majors and are certified to teach all subjects in a business education curriculum. Some students, however, who plan to teach in the larger schools, take either the Accounting and Social Business Major or the Secretarial Major.
