SILVER AWARD Mr. Paul T. Cullen NORMA WILKINSON AWARD The Women's Recreation Association established the Norma Wilkinson Award to commemorate Norma Koy Wilkinson, a member of the Class of 1955. The award is given to the senior woman dis tinguished for high morol and social standards, enthusiasm, vivacity, sincerity, dependability, initiative, loyalty, and service to the college. These were the outstanding characteristics of Norma Wilkinson. For possessing these qualities. Miss Gwendolyn Ritchie is chosen to receive the oward for 1963. The Silver Award is named in honor of the memory of Dr. Ernest L. Silver who was president of Plymouth Teachers College for thirty-five years. The purposes of the award are: to recognize the senior man who possesses to an outstanding degree the physical, mental, social, and personal qualities which are important to the teacher, and to encourage men students to attain the qualities which will help build a mature professional attitude. The Silver Award is presented to Mr Paul T. Cullen for achieving an eminent position in the class of 1963 Awarded For Out-Standing Personal . . . Miss Gwendolyn Ritchie . . . Condidotes for Who's Who Among Students in Americon Universities ond Colleges ore selected from the junior and senior classes on the basis of scholarship, leadership, character, and porticipotion in activities. These students are selected by a joint committee of students ond faculty which is chosen by the student council. Since the number of students selected depends on the enrollment of the school, Plymouth Teachers College is entitled to sixteen this year.
