You can, through music and poetry, help him to enrich and ennoble his own spiritual and emotional life. One of your greatest opportunities is to encourage him to think for himself and to develop his own faculties. You have not chosen an easy road. You will need energy, courage, patience, enthusiasm, and sincere respect for the opinions of others. Remember always that the work you have chosen is well worth doing.
