During the past years we have studied, laughed, worked, and played together, en' joying every pleasant moment. Now, all these wonderful experiences have hecome memories- memories that will live within our minds and hearts forever. But as time passes, these memories may dimg so we, the class of 1956, have at' tempted to make this a hook of memories. Glancing through this year hook, you will he reminded of the dances, plays, minstrels, and sports. There are many other experiences you will not wish to forget, And if we have accomplished the purpose for which we have worked. you will not forget. For you will he ahle to refcapture that school spirit through the memories this hook will hring, ATHLETICS . . .. 5 667 'il C0 TET ACTIVITIES .. .. 4Of41 IA 2-. ji Olin? Reese and Leonard Kopicki who gave their lives in defense of freedom. John was editor of the yearbook as a senior' in 1946. He was inducted into the army in 1950 and saw action in Korea. John was wounded on June 11, 1952 and died the following day. We are proud to name him in our yearbook as a symbol of what he fought to preserve. We are also proud to include the name Leonard Kopicki in this memorial. Leonard was a graduate in the class of 1947 and lost his life in Korea while Hghting for God and country. SCHOOL PLAY The annual school play this year entitled 'kBurner of the Bugle, was presented on March 2 in the high school auditorium. The play, a threefact comedy, revolved around the disappearance of a Major College student, one Bunson Burner. Also involved, were the complicated methods by which Bunson's friends, members of the college paper staff, tried to cover up his mysterious absence. These, along with smaller, underlying plots, made the play a really rollicking affair. Miss Marion Williams, dramatic coach, directed the hilarious presentation in which eighteen students took part.
