Miss Hobbs is also ad- visor of the Shawnee Arrow. lletore coming to Plymouth High School, Miss Alice Clou was secretary to the Deputy At- torney General of Pennsylvania. hfliss Glou teaches Business Arithmetic, Stenography I and 'Vypewriting l, and is assistant advisor for the Shawnee Arrow paper. She graduated from Plymouth High School and Sus- quehanna University. Mr. Iohn Mergo is a gradu- ate ol' Plymouth High School and East Stroudsburg State Teachers' College. Besides teach- ing Physical liducation to the boys Mr. Mergo is one of the coaches and is a very active member ol the Athletic Council, Page Eight Miss Regina C. Robaczewski is a graduate ot Plymouth High School and Wilson College. She has taken courses at the Univer- sity ot YVisconsin and Nluhlen- herg College. Besides teaching Medieval and Modern History. she is a Iunior Class sponsor and is assistant librarian. After graduating from Plym outh High School and Cedar Crest College, Miss Elizabeth C. Teske began her teaching career at Plymouth High School sev- eral years ago. She teaches Cae- sar and is a Sophomore Class sponsor. Miss Teslte also :lt- tended Pennsylvania State Col- lege. lnstrueting the Algebra classes is Mr, Ioseph F. Bukowski. He is a graduate ol' Plymouth High School and Dickinson College. Mr. Buliovvski has taken the post-graduate vvorlc at Duke Uni- versity and the University of Pennsylvania. Besides teaching Sophomore English, Miss lfleanor bl. Tisdel is a sponsor oli the Senior Girl Reserves and head of all bank- ing. Miss Tisdel graduated from Plymouth High School and VVil- son College. She tools: summer courses at Pennsylvania State College and the University of Pennsylvania. First year l.,atin is taught by Miss lessie N. Iones. She is a ifrziduate of Plymouth High School and llloomsburg State Teachers, College. Miss Iones has taken extension courses at the University ol' Pennsylvania.

By their careful guidance and unsellish purposes, they have inspired their students with high ideals that they might take their places in their community as capable citizens. Friendly advice and encouragement were very often offered to inspire courage and conlidenc in their pupils as well as implanting in them aspirations which they might some day hope to achieve. Thus this section is devoted to the sincerest friends of the students. Assistant Principal and Dean of VVomen is Miss Flora Ran- som. She is a graduate of Plym- outh Borough Schools, Blooms- burg State Teachers, College and has attended University of Penn- sylvania. Miss Ransom teaches Plane and Solid Geometry and Trigonometry. of Problems of have Miss Mary Miss McCollum of Bloomsburg College and at- tended University of Pennsyl- vania and University of Roches- ter. She is chief librarian. As a teacher Democracy, we E. 'McCollum. is a graduate State Teachers' Mr. Leland Bennett is the Senior linglish teacher. He is a graduate ol' Plains High School, VVyoming Seminary, Blooms- burg State Teachers' College and Bucknell University. She is a graduate of St. Vincent's High School and Marywood College and also attended Pennsylvania State College. Professor Llewellyn Llewellyn is supervisor of music in Plym- outh Borough Schools. He is a graduate of Chicago Musical College and attended Tonic- Solfa College, London, England. Professor Llewellyn is the leader of our band and orchestra. Mr. Richards teaches Freshman Algebra and is a Freshman Class sponsor. This is his fourth year as a member of the faculty. is i J After graduating from Plym- outh High School and VVilkes- Barre Business College Miss Ruth Hughey came here to serve as secretary to the superinten- dent, Mr. Henry S. Iones. Miss lflughey has been a loyal and capable secretary to the superin- tendcnt. Miss Mae C. Bartells is in- structor of Bookkeeping l and ll and is a business advisor to the Shawnee Arrow paper. Miss Hartells is a graduate of Plym- outh High School and attended VVyoming Seminary and Svra- cuse University. She has taken additional work at Pennsylvania State College. Page Nine Girls, Physical Education is under the supervision of Miss Madeline Cooney. She gradu- ated from Plymouth High School and the Sargent School of Boston University. This is Miss Cooney's lifth year as a member of the faculty. She is also a sponsor to the Iunior Girl Reserves. Besides being instructor in English. Mr. lien Iatmes is head basketball coach. assistant foot- ball coach and is a member of the Athletic Council. He grad- uated from Plymouth High School and Dickinson College. He toolt his graduate work at lluclinell University. .Win BCIIVZLYZ Read the Noncct Typewriting l and Stenogra- phy I are taught by Miss Rosina Kitchener. She is a graduate ol Plymouth High School, Blooms burg State Teachers' College and Wilkes-Barre Business College. She has taken special studies at Bucknell University and is now treasurer for all extra-curricular activities.
