This has been a busy year for chorus. We participated in the Hancock County Music Festival, leaving early in the morn- ing for rehearsals under the direction of Thomas Williams from Knox College. A public concert was given for the public in the evening. The chorus participated in the Christ- mas pageant, The Nativity, went to con- test, participated in school assemblies and functions, sent special solos and ensembles into the community when asked, and sang at the graduation exercises. ' , To start off our activities, the officers attended the House of Delegates meeting at Quincy, Illinois. A feature of F. H. A. week which everyone enjoyed was the Chinese supper that Miss Wahl seasoned for us. We were invited to Forum for flower arranging. At Christmas time, Mrs. Cantrall demonstrated gift wrapping. Members found it a treat to attend the formal initiation at Augusta. Our Chapter Mother and Chapter Grandmother entertained graciously at two respective parties during the year. Our organization affiliated with the state and national organizations. , The girls in Future Homemakers of America are striving constantly to make better home- makers of themselves.
