Shirley Burton. .Seventh Grade y On September, 1952, forty-five seventh graders entered the halls of Plymouth Grade Schoo Since our class was so large, it was divided into two groups, Room 7 and Room 7X, The home room teacher for Room 7 was Mrs. Dark. Officers for the first semester were: Joan Burris, President: Patty White, Vice-President: and Joyia Akers, Secretary-Treasurer. ' The home room teacher for Room 7X was Miss Ward. Their officers were: Sandra Metcalf, President: Jim Derks, Vice-President: Shirley Burton, Secretary-Treasurer. Our dues were five cents a week. FIRST ROW: Left to Right: Peggy Perkins, Barbara Burton, Raymond Nelson, Beth Bell, Sandra Metcalf, Patty White, Jerry Huddleston, Bob Hiland. SECOND ROW: Wendell Roberts, Joan Garlick, Shirley Dowacter, Max Anderson, Sally Huey, Dwight Fugate, Lloyd Smith, Ronnie Douglas, Jimmy Derks, Larry Allen, Charles Gray. EIGHTH GRADE OFFICERS Roddy Cookson, Gary Horney, Carol Goodin, Peggy Smith. Eighth Grade There were twenty-seven students in the eighth grade during ,the 1952-'53 term. Mr, Prentice was our home room teacher. The class officers elected the middle of December served the entire year. They were: Carol Goodin, Presidentg Gary Horney, Vice-President: Roddy Cookson, Secretary: and Peggy Smith, Treasurer. The class voted one dollar per student as the class dues for the year. At the time of this writing the class has some money making ideas, which they hope will provide funds for a trip in the spring.
