Why The Golden Opened for There were that can't bell Gates of Knowledge you and me. high and mighty Seniors, Juniors and Sophomores too. The poor and lowly Freshmen, So green and,oh,so blue. Came Freshman Day with lipstick, The And The Our And And Reception was that night much to our amazement Seniors were polite lives were filled with sports, games and clubs and dances thanks to Whitcher and MacDonald We saw a few romances We elected our first officers Who were superior by far Whitcher and Tommy Volpe Bob Garland and Gerry Carr Our football team gained glory The baseball team did too We yelled 'till we could hardly speak For our colors white and blue Next year we all were Sophomores And if I remember right, We had a Sadie Hawkins Day And a Dog Patch Dance that night Again we held elections, Our President was Jeanine Cookie Germaine, and Joe Helped make our class real keen We were busy making money And fun that was so bright We attended the Canteen Exery Saturday night Soon we were buying stocks Which were for The School Store We had some One Act Plays 9 J We found that we were Juniors with a busy year ahead. The boys all wore suspenders, Nlt was the styleln, They said. Jeanine was our President again, And she was really swell.
