CIMO? elf!! p'Z0l2A2Cy S1nce I am an adventurous sort of person I declded 1t's now or never' I caut1ously approached the tlcket Off1CC and purchased my t1cket on the f1rst fhght to the moon Flnally It was t1me for the take off I made my way up the gangplank to board the m1ghty rocket and much to my surpr1se I bumped 1nto two of my old classmates They were Joan Postema and Lurma R1sner who were the stewardesses on th1s flrst fhght As I stood there chattmg vv1th Joan and Lurma I learned that the p1lot was to be J1m Jacobs better known to h1s classmates as Jake and as h1s co D1lOt Charles Cobb As I boarded the rocket I bumped 1nto four more of my classmates They were Ellen McKown Dahcr Huzovlch and Bett1e Baker They have become very r1ch and are takmg th1s tr1p so as to be noted as the f1rst soc1ety gurls to fly to the moon Chuck K1ess who 1S a photographer for the World C1ty Globe IS along to take p1ctures of the g1rls after they land After the thr1ll1ng take offl had several more chats w1th my fr1ends and found out about the rest of my class and what they have done w1th the1r l1ves Jo hn Ell1ott has become a great phys1c1st and IS now worklng on a new theory at Hollmburg Research Center Karen Buckmgham Pat Young and N1da Stroup have lncorporated and started the Strougham Spec1al1ty Hosp1tal Karen 1S the cluef of staff Pat 1S the head ped1atr1c1an and N1da 1S the world's greatest bra1n surgeon Cornell as h1s pr1nc1ple so1o1st Roberta Bachrach 1S the most famous actress on stage screen and telev1s1on She has won several academy awards The producer and wr1ter of her plays and also her husband 1S J1m Hunt J1m Pidler 1S the owner of the famous Green Leaf N1ght Club located 1n the heart of New York C1ty H1s feature attract1on IS slnger Trudy Green better known to her classmates as Joanne Sm1th Herb Caud11l IS the world's most famous sports car dr1ver and des1gner Sally Barbour 1S the world's leader 1n medals from Olymp1c Games Marge Curren has become a famous fasluon des1gner 1n Par1s and the model for her fash1ons 1S Joanne BI'1ggS Reeda Slone IS a m1ss1onary 1n South Afr1ca She 1S now work1ng wlth the head hunters Sh1rley Myers startmg at the low salary of S185 25 a week 1n a local factory has become the world's wealth1est woman Now she can fulf1ll her dream of own1ng an Olds convert1ble Sandra Snyder has really come up from her Job as 11brary asslstant now she IS head l1brar1an at the Congresslonal L1brary 1n Washlngton Pat Markley and Marc1a McGregor have entered the1r chosen f1elds a.r1d have done very well Pat 1S a grade school teacher and Marc1a 1S a home ec teacher Well the rocket has just landed so 1nto my space sult I go and onto the surface of the moon See you when I return I hope' wig? gl 'NEI O . . . . . . , . . . . , . . amor 61154 -fllutoty In 194.1 we began our schoolmg 1n what 1S now the lugh school Mrs Harry started teachmg us and Mrs Port took her place 1n the m1ddle of the year Mrs McFadden took us under her w1ng our second year The th1ng that stands out most IS the storles wlth whlch we started each day Mrs Major gulded us through our th1rd year In add1t1on to the read1ng NVI'1t1I'lg ar1thmet1c spellmg and mus1c we had language and geography that year In the fourth grade Mrs Farrar had lots of games for us to play and called us 1n from recess w1th a cow bell We started the fxfth grade 1n '1 brand new bu1ld1ng Th1s 1S the year Mrs Ervm was our teacher and we put on the play The Proud Pnncess Also thls year lustory and health were added to our 11St of subjects In the mlddle of the slxth grade we moved back to the lugh school What a change' Under trymg condltlons Mrs Anderson tr1ed to teach us In the seventh grade we were somewhat b6W1ld6I0d what w1th lockers and chang1ng classes Mr Pol1ng was our home room teacher that year By the t1me we entered the e1ghth grade thlngs went along smoothly and tune passed rap1dly w1th Mr Sarpa for a home room teacher In the nlnth grade we had a chance to choose some of our subjects That year we had Mrs Id01ne for a 1101119 I'0OII1 teacher By the t1me we were sophomores we knew our way around but our subjects were harder Mr Kreutzfeld had us for home room 1n the old mus1c room ' Next comes our jumor year Mr Nowakowskl was our home room teacher then What fun that year what w1th our play No More Homework a.nd the beaut1ful 8XC1t1Hg Jumor Semor Prom La V1e Paree We entered our semor year w1th much enthus1asm We sold tlungs 1n order to make enough money for our class tmp The semor play was ' Stage Door and our dance Lam or L1on fbecause xt was held on March lst J were lugh po1nts of our semor year but the class tr1p was the cl1max of the year C O L. . . . . , L L . , 4 , .
