Best Girl Citizen For the past twelve years members of the senior class in high schools all over the country have been asked to select the girl in their class that possesses to an outstanding degree the qualities of dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism. This year the name of the Best Girl Citizen was announced to the school on March 17th, and most appropriately so, for the Class of '48 has conferred this honor upon Elinore Shea. Since she entered Plymouth High School in the middle of the sopho- more year, Elinore has taken an active part in school activities. She has served on various committees, and has been an active member of the Glee Club. She was a representative to the S. A. S. in her junior year and during her junior and senior years was a member of the Press Club. As a senior, Elinore was on the Library Staff, and on- the Senior Features Com- mittee for the Pilgrim. She has served most efficiently as Class Secretary for the past two years, and this year she has held the position of home- room secretary and oHice assistant. The Class of 1948 is proud to present Elinore Shea as our Best Girl Citizen.
