But there are some people trying to change that. Events such as Powder Puff. Spirit Days, and football homecoming are to encite enthusiasm in stu- dents. Other occasions include pep rallies, which bring a feeling of togetherness ' to the school. School spirit does seem to increase with these extra-curricular activities. One reason is be- cause they are a place to socialize, get together with friends, and cheer their team to a victory.
