Columbia City was the only team to beat them the previous year When the game was over the final score read a sad 20—14 victory for Columbia City. The Kockies next encounter was to be one of the more exciting games of the year They downed a rough Wabash team. H—7 The Kockies knew their next four games were going to mean if they were to have a successful year or not; the games were to Conference opponents Rochester. Man- chester. The uptown coaches predicted a losing season, hut the Mights Pilgrims knew otherwise.
