Tr © vr OAVIO RTHttCXf ........................ • Our Four Years With the purpose of growing In knowl- edge ond wisdom, the Class of 1966 began its voyage through four years of undulating seas. We embarked on this voyoge in growth during our freshman year by se- lecting class officers to set our course. These officers were: President. Jerry Hol- deread. Vice-President, Kent Huff; Secre- tary, Connie Brundige; and Treasurer, Ron Overmyer. With the aid of these officers and the various committees, we held our first party, Over the Rainbow. During the second year of our voyage, we took another step toward our goal of knowledge and wisdom by electing new officers: President. Alan Kralovansky,- Vice-President, Carolyn Coplen,- Secretory, Connie Brundige; and Treasurer, Vickie Winrotte. Rendezvous in Paris was our evening of the year. As we entered our junior year, we re- ceived the insignia of upperclossmenship— the class ring, With this ring came new responsibilities, the most important being the junior-senior prom. Many hours were spent in the concession stands working toward our objective, Mystic Depths. The officers who guided us through this important year were: President, Alan Kralovansky; Vice-President, Dove Wil- liams; Secretary, Beth Shaffer,- and Treas- urer, Dan Scarberry. The lost leogue of our voyage was our busiest. During this senior rush, we found time to elect competent officers: President, Alan Kralovansky; Vice-Presi- dent, Dave Fetherolf; Secretary, Mary Kay Johanning; ond Treasurer, Jerry Hold- ereod. We also found time to welcome new classmates when West High consoli- dated with Plymouth High. We paused a moment to pay tribute to one of our class- mates, Roger Reilly, who had the honor of being the first American Field Service student from Plymouth. He was sent to Costa Rica. As we step out into the world to grow even more in maturity and wisdom, we leave behind reminders for future voy- agers. By being the first senior class in recent years to present a serious drama, Inherit the Wind, we set the stage for others to follow. We hod a hand in form- ing several new organizations and activi- ties during our four years including: Alpha Delta Rho, Masque and Gavel, Chess Club, Spanish Club, French Club, and Wrestling. Having reached the shore of this seo of learning, we see before us many more to cross. But we will embark on these new seas with the confidence that the knowledge ond wisdom gained in the post four years will see us safely to their shores. FROM YOUNG DOOR COMPANY Thoughts for the future... CIT THE JOB DONE? There are two kinds of persons in the world: those who think first of difficulties, and those who think first of the importance of accomplish- ment in spite of difficulties. If a thing ought to be done, the presence of severe obstacles to its doing is only a further reason for bringing it to pass. Yet the trait of instantly showing why a thing cannot be done is keeping down more young men. and older men too, in business than any other factor in their lives. Anybody can point out difficulties; it calls for brain and courage to look beyond difficulties to the end. If you want to stay just where you are in the procession, or fall steadily behind, give obstacles a first place in your life. If you want to move out from the crowd, and count for something more than “average. let every obstacle be welcomed as a fresh incentive to action. DOOR rt ouKg ▼ n n u n a COMPANY PLYMOUTH.
